Following my very first WNBA game, my dream came true when I got to attend my very first NBA game – the LA Lakers vs Phoenix Suns (I know, this was back in December). I’ve always wanted to go to a Lakers game, although a lot of the players that I’ve always watched are no longer on the team. I was also excited that it was a game against the Phoenix Suns – maybe I get to watch Devin Booker play too!
The game was at 7pm, so we grabbed dinner at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, near Crypto.com Arena, before entering the arena. The Ribs + Umami Fries were pretty good! We sat in the outdoor area, so we also got to enjoy the Christmas tree and skating rink view.
After dinner, we entered the arena. At the entrance, we each got an ear bud case – so cool! I like how it came with a strap too. I can’t wait to put all my small things in it!
The arena was packed, and there were so many people in the crowds, including Yamamoto! It was such a fun game to watch, especially getting to see LeBron and Booker play in person, although I was a bit sad that the Lakers didn’t score as much as I had hoped. We all held our breaths for a few shots, waiting for the swish through the basket. People already started leaving before the game was over, but a good amount of people still stayed until the end!
The Suns ended up winning the game, but I still had a great time! I can’t wait to see what the next game I watch will be.
