It’s time for my first NFL game, the San Francisco 49ers vs the Arizona Cardinals! The coolest part? I get to watch it from a suite at Levi’s Stadium. I found the one red top I had. I don’t typically watch football, but I did watch quite a few games in high school and some in college.
We got to the stadium around 11:15am and there were already a lot of fans in the area. We had VIP parking, which meant there was a separate lot to park in! However, the signs were not very clear so we had to exit out of the first lot we drove to and drive further down to the separate VIP lot. I was surprised at the number of staff working (and the number of porta potties in the parking lot).
At the entrance, we scanned our tickets at the machine and the staff gave us a redemption ticket for a George Kittle bobblehead. It was interesting that they didn’t just give out the bobblehead when you enter. There was a separate line that we had to walk to and line up for another 10 minutes in the sun to pick up the bobblehead. It seemed a bit inefficient.

After picking up our bobbleheads, we walked across the bridge and entered through the VIP entrance. We had to take so many escalators to get to our floor! I got to be the first to open the door to the suite. Snacks on the left, a kitchen island with chips and dips and fruit in the middle, and food and drinks on the right. There were cups for us to use too! The seats looked so comfy – they were cushioned!

What’s on the menu in the suite?
Quick Bites
- Kettle Potato Chips & Gourmet Dips – caramelized shallot dip & dill pickle dip – Loved the caramelized shallot dip! It was so delicious. I wish we got to grab some for the road!
- Got Munchies – Pub Mix, Sour Patch Kids, M&M’s
Garden-Fresh Picks & Nosh
- Farmers Market Fresh Fruit – seasonal fresh fruit & berries
Game Day Favorites
- Crispy Chicken Tenders – buttermilk ranch & barbecue sauce – This was actually a lot better than I expected.
- Bay City Roller Dogs – Silva Faithful Frank all-beef hot dog, toasted bun, Smash Kitchen condiments – The hot dogs were my favorite! The all-beef hot dog was so beefy. I may or may not have had more than one…
Crafted Dishes
- Empanada Duo – Argentine beef & vegan pinto bean, red chimichurri sauce – The beef empanadas were pretty good, especially when you add on the chimichurri sauce!
Sides
- White Cheddar Mac – Cavatappi pasta, white cheddar cheese sauce, butter toasted panko topping – This mac was so tempting. I wish I could eat more without feeling so full!
À La Carte
- Dim Sum Duo – pan seared lemon grass chicken potstickers & crunchy vegetables spring roll, ponzu sauce & hot ginger chili – The dim sum was probably my least favorite. There was corn in the potstickers. The sauce also arrived later.
- Porky Pull-A Part Slides – slow smoked beef brisket, pulled pork shoulder, Texas style BBQ sauce, coleslaw, pickled red onions, Hawaiian rolls
Suite Sweets
- Gold Rush Dessert Collection – special event themed logo shortbreads, freshly baked cookies, brownies & bars – This looked really pretty, but I didn’t try any of it.

With suite tickets, you also get access to NRG Solar Terrace, the rooftop garden. You just have to make sure you take the elevator up before the game. We got to see the opening and planes flying above from the rooftop garden!

The stadium was so red. All the fans were wearing red. Even the chairs were red. I loved the view from the suite! It was so nice to be out of the sun. It was actually a bit chilly when the wind blew too. I absolutely loved the suite chairs. They were so soft. In the suite, there is also more flexibility – you can sit, grab some food, stand, sit again, and grab some more food. It definitely made the experience so much cooler.

It was such a fun game to watch. It’s been so long since I’ve watched football. It made me realize…I actually enjoy watching football more than baseball and soccer! It was awesome that the 49ers won too, 36-30!

I’m looking forward to the next football game I watch. This was such a sweet suite experience!
