It’s the week of traveling. Everyone is out and about! My stomach is ready for a few days of good food.
Sunday
1:00pm
The adventure starts with lunch at Fish King. I got a Poke Bowl with salmon and hamachi plus some Hawaiian-Style Tuna Poke and Scallops Poke on the side as well! This was so good. I thought the poke bowl wouldn’t be enough, but it was actually a lot of food.

6:30pm
Dinner was so exciting that I forgot to take a photo! Egg rolls, popcorn chicken, and sushi – what a meal! Post dinner activity? Mario Kart and Super Mario Party! Let it not be forgotten that I had 12 coins and 1 star stolen from me…
Monday
10:30am
Starting off the day with a Mascarpone from Loquat! It was pricey but delicious.

11:45am
A stroll around ROW DTLA (a lot of shops were closed on Mondays sadly) and it’s already time for lunch at Pizzeria Bianco! The Burrata Salad and pizzas were so good.

1:30pm
It’s time for a stop at Be Bright Coffee – they even have a little play area for kids! We learned that Griffith Observatory is also closed on Mondays…
3:00pm
The Farmer’s Market at The Grove was next on the list. There were a lot of food stands and cool shops! We also caught the last ride on the trolley before the break.

4:15pm
It’s a hot day, so ice cream is perfect. Wanderlust had a double scoop for the price of a single deal! I got the Sakura Tiramisu and Black Sesame Cookies & Cream flavors.

5:30pm
To burn off all the food and make space for more, it’s time for pickleball!
9:30pm
A delicious late-night feast at U2 Cafe! Everything tasted good, and the food came out super quickly! The texture of the fried tofu was so unique – it was definitely a favorite!

Tuesday
10:00am
The day started with breakfast at Garden Cafe. Service was a bit slow, but the taste was still good. Steak for breakfast? Exactly what I wanted. We ordered so much that we couldn’t finish!

11:30am
Coffee time! We stopped at Mandarin Coffee Stand in Pasadena for a cappuccino.

1:00pm
Hello Griffith Observatory! Loved the views and also the different exhibitions on space! I could probably spend hours in here. You could even grab a passport to collect stamps!

2:40pm
After learning so much, we were hungry again. We went to Heng Heng Chicken Rice for some food. The Crispy Pork Belly was worth going for!

3:50pm
Once our stomachs were satisfied…we were thirsty! We visited Bopomofo in Hollywood. I got the Guava Jin Xuan Oolong, but thought it was too sweet.
Guava Jin Xuan Oolong – real guava nectar, lemon juice, and Jin Xuan Oolong Tea. A refreshing fruit tea for the summer heat!

Just next to Bopomofo Cafe is the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There were so many people and random Spider-Mans that should be avoided at all times. We were surprised to also see a LINE store, so of course we had to check that out too.

5:45pm
Abbot Kinney Boulevard – a street with cool, expensive shops. We managed to check out Fellow right before closing and try the new coffee machine!

7:30pm
Did we just eat? Nah, it’s already dinner time. To wrap up the LA adventure, we ate dinner at Kagura El Segundo. I got the Kaisen Bowl Gozen. The portions were so big! I wish I was able to order the items separately.
Kaisen Bowl Gozen – assorted sashimi and vegetables on sushi rice. Served with pork cutlet, tempura and steamed vegetables.

After a lot of sitting through traffic, it’s a wrap on LA! The last couple of days were filled with food and fun. I’m excited for the next adventure!
