It’s been a while since our trio dining getaway in Little Tokyo, and on this rainy day, my friends and I wanted to go get lunch together at Sushi Gen. As lunch time got closer, something came up for each of the friends, and just the trio was left. Of course, we couldn’t pass on a chance to eat at Sushi Gen, so we continued with our original lunch plan and headed over. On the way there, we looked at each other.
“So I guess it’s just the three of us at Sushi Gen again?” We all laughed.
There was a long line outside. We missed the first round of the lunch crowd. We put down our name and walked around Little Tokyo while waiting. We were hoping the line would be shorter because of the rain but I guess everyone else had the same thought! When it was almost our turn, we headed back to the restaurant. How funny would it be if we end up sitting at the same table? My friends all wondered the same.
They finally called our name and took us to our table. It was the same table! We all ordered the Chirashi Bowl and a plate of Fried Chicken for the table. This chirashi was just as satisfying as the premium one that I got last time.
When will our next trio dining experience be? Will it be at the same restaurant?
