Reservations at The Pink Door in Seattle open one month in advance, so when I knew what day I wanted go, I set an alarm to remind myself to make a reservation! When I arrived at the restaurant, there was a long line already. The weather was really nice, so we decided to sit in the outdoor area.
For appetizers, we got the Bruschetta and also ate the complimentary bread!
Bruschetta – grilled ciabatta bread with the ripest organic summer tomatoes, basilico, really, really good olive oil and Sicilian sea salt – the tomatoes tasted so fresh!

For the main dishes, we ordered four and shared, so I was able to try a bit of everything!
Cioppino Pink Door – prawns, rock fish, mussels, clams and calamari in a spicy tomato and white wine broth – this was my favorite overall!
Lasagna Pink Door – fresh spinach pasta layered with besciamella, pesto and topped with marinara sauce – the lasagna was very light, which was perfect!
Chicken Saltimbocca – prosciutto, fontina, sage, brown butter vinaigrette, snap peas, semolina dumpling – the semolina dumpling was AMAZING. It was definitely my favorite part of this dish!
Linguine Alle Vongole – baby clams in their shell, pancetta, garlic, chilis and white wine
