It’s dinner time. I walked into Sushi Enya, not knowing what I wanted to order. There were a lot of options, but the omakase stood out the most. So why not give it a try?
Our server came over to take our order, and when she heard that we wanted to do the omakase, she immediately took away our plates and chopsticks, and gave us fancy chopsticks with a fresh plate of ginger.
The omakase had 16 courses, with an appetizer and dessert.
The appetizer had a very interesting texture. The seaweed was soft but crunchy at the same time and was very refreshing to start off the meal.
The nigiri was amazing. Every piece tasted so fresh and so delicious it’s indescribable.
I can taste the sweet shrimp in my mouth as I look at this photo and remember the joy it brought me as I ate it on this wonderful evening.
This is probably my very first time having wagyu beef! I was blown away – the texture and the flavor was just…wow. Never had anything like it.
If you love truffle, this is for you. There was so much truffle with the steamed egg and uni! The uni with the steamed egg and truffle was a pretty interesting combination – I’m more used to having uni cold.
This hand roll was loaded – I didn’t even know how to eat it! Having seared scallop, chopped toro, and uni all at once was such an unique experience! Not sure if I like them all together or separate though.
Finally, dessert! What a great way to end the meal!
