A child’s dream: Going to the grocery store and choosing all the flavors of ice cream you’ve ever wanted. And eating it all.
My first ever ice cream tasting menu:
- Humphry Slocombe Hong Kong Milk Tea
- Jeni’s Wildberry Lavender
- Tin Pot Creamery Blue Jasmine Tea
- Milk Bar Fruity Cereal Milk
I was seated at the bar, and the ice cream man stood on the other side of the counter, ready to serve the excited kids. We started with the Hong Kong Milk Tea, followed by the Wildberry Lavender. The Hong Kong Milk Tea is a much stronger flavor, and definitely has the Hong Kong Milk Tea taste that brings you back to a HK cafe. The taste of the Wildberry Lavender is nothing like what I expected, but it was just like what the container said – intensely fruity.
The Blue Jasmine Tea and Fruity Cereal Milk came next. The Blue Jasmine Tea tasted really good and came in a beautiful blue color. It was not too sweet, and the jasmine tea flavor was perfect. The Fruity Cereal Milk tasted just like what I expected – Fruity Pebbles! It was like a trip back to the kid life.
My favorite is the Blue Jasmine Tea, followed by the Hong Kong Milk Tea. The Wildberry Lavender and Fruity Cereal Milk are tied for third!
What a fun ice cream tasting experience with yummy and interesting flavors and a great ice cream man!
