A Stroll Through Natural Bridges State Beach

Hello Santa Cruz! Visited Santa Cruz for the first time and wow, the weather was nice! 58 degree weather at 9am in the morning. My type of weather.

I met up with a few friends for a stroll through Natural Bridges State Beach (the paved part though). We walked all the way from the beach to the lighthouse and back, which was around 4.5 miles! I easily got my 10,000 steps for the day 🙂 Parking was $10/day, so we ended up finding street parking instead. It was only a short little walk from the Visitor Center, but actually an even closer walk to the beach. A note if you’re walking from the street to the Visitor Center: don’t take shortcuts.

From far away, the birds on top of Natural Bridge looked like penguins…in California.

Here’s the lighthouse at our turning point – it’s actually a surfing museum! There were a lot of surfers catching the waves in the water, so we stopped to take a look too.

Overall, it was a nice and easy walk with some nice views! Definitely a great stroll to hang out and catch up.
