“Let’s get salad!” is something you won’t hear coming out of my mouth often, but let’s face it – sometimes we just want the taste of something cold and fresh. Souplantation used to be my favorite place for salad (and it still would be if it didn’t close), but now, it just seems to be so much more difficult to see a plate of salad on my table, mainly because of how expensive salads can be. Do I really want to pay $15 for a salad? Not really.
A simple solution would be a visit to Costco. The Asian Cashew Chopped Salad in the produce section, which I had no expectations for, turned out to be pretty tasty and a great price! After you give your salad a good mix with the sauce, choose your favorite protein. You can even get the Costco Rotisserie Chicken, shred it into smaller pieces and mix it in! If you want to make it even fancier, add in some salmon or steak!
What’s going in your salad?
